There is Barriered Parking (Pay on Exit) for the public and patients.  If required, weekly tickets are available from the ticket machine.  All ticket machines accept coins, notes and debit/credit cards.

Barriered Car Parking can be found:

  • In front of the Outpatient Department (two areas)
  • Next to our Postgraduate Education Centre
  • Alongside A&E and the Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Centre
  • Abbey Wing


Pay and Display car parking for patients and visitors:

  • Maple Wing at rear of hospital

Blue Badge Holders

There are a number of disabled parking spaces spread across the hospital sites.

Parking for blue badge holders is free of charge. For those patients and visitors using the disabled parking bays within the barriered car park, please give main reception your blue badge number (but leave the badge on display in your vehicle) and they will give you a free exit ticket. 

All disabled spaces are located close to the main hospital entrances and signs clearly direct the way for people with a disability. There is access for wheelchair users. There are automatic opening doors on Levels 1 and 2 of the Outpatient Department, at the entrance to the Duchess of Kent Wing and the entrance to Abbey Wing. St Peter's hospital has also easy access to lifts.
